The Brookfield Zoo is a zoo located in the Chicago suburb of Brookfield, Illinois. The zoo covers an area of 216 acres (87 ha) and houses around 450 species of animals. As part of the Chicago Zoological Society there mission of the is to inspire conservation leadership by connecting people with wildlife.

Indoor animal exhibits close one half hour before the zoo closes.
